This client is in a highly competitive space, competing against giant corporations such as the United States Post Office, Stamps.com, FedEx, and others. Ranking high in the organic section for relevant keywords with good search volume provides huge value to their business, helps increase qualified leads and drive sales.

We did a comprehensive SEO analysis and found that while the site had some good organic results, there was still a lot of potentials for this client to increase their organic rankings and drive more qualified traffic to their site. Case Study # 2 – Short Term Results

This case study shows the type of short term results clients can experience as a result of our easy win targeting strategy. This client has seen some very impressive, measurable results in a short time period. With this strategy, which we use with all of our SEO clients, you can monetize your SEO in a short amount of time and see real value as a result of our efforts.

This client started their SEO campaign in May 2020 and this case study shows results thru August 2020, so we are looking at a short time period with this case study. The interesting thing is the short term impact their SEO campaign has had on their website traffic and the number of keywords that are already ranking organically as a result of our program.

In a relatively short amount of time, we were able to get an additional 20% of keywords to rank organically and increase monthly organic traffic by 46%.

Case Study # 3 – Our Web Site

This case study shows the type of results we’ve seen with our own web site, https://payperclickauthority.com. Prior to optimizing our site, we had done some onsite SEO but hadn’t really done much with link building and content generation. We had mainly focused on marketing our services thru Google Ads and Bing Ads paid advertising (PPC).

The Strategy

We initially targeted a combination of “easy win” keywords, which are keywords with relevance, search volume, and that we feel we can achieve good results in a shorter time period. Our site, https://payperclickauthority.com was relatively new when we started this SEO campaign. As we have limited resources and time, our approach has been conservative and most consistent (we did take a short term break from our campaign when COVID-19 caused the shutdown but resumed after a few months.

What we’ve seen is by consistently adding quality content in the form of blogs and quality link building, our site has increased both the monthly organic traffic and the keywords we are ranking for. We’ve been able to generate more leads, sales, and authority/credibility.

Law Firm SEO Case Study


In this case study, you’ll learn how in only six months we increased traffic to a law firm’s website by 800% and how their traffic is now valued at $11,714 per month.

Law firms depend on generating new clients, and internet marketing are a key way users find attorneys by searching on Google, etc. PPC advertising can be very expensive for lawyers, so search engine optimization for an attorney can be very effective and profitable.

Background

This law firm reached out to us at the end of 2019 to help optimize its website. The site first launched in June 2015 and hadn’t seen much traffic growth in four years.

When they started using our managed SEO service in October 2019, the firm’s organic traffic was just over 500 visitors a month.

They wanted to increase their online rankings to drive more qualified traffic to their website, ultimately getting them more leads and clients.

The SEO Audit

Our first step with any client is to complete a full SEO audit of their website. We need to know what we’re working with before strategizing and planning any campaigns.

Right away we knew that the legal industry was a very competitive space. Through our audit we found out that to rank locally in their city for the phrase “law firm,” it was going to take an estimated 310 backlinks to get inside the top 10 spots.

The firm had some luck with landing backlinks on their own but it was clear there was a lot more work to be done. And luckily, link building is our specialty.

“Easy Wins” Keyword Research

We work smarter for our clients by identifying “easy wins” keywords.

These are keywords the website is already ranking for in positions 4-30. Since these keywords are already ranking near the top, we can focus on them for some quick traffic jumps!

Once we identify these keywords we can use them strategically to improve a client’s overall ranking.

We found a total of 667 “easy win” keywords. Some of them had incredibly high search volumes and wouldn’t take much to rank in the Top 10.

Competitive Gap Analysis

Understanding what your competitors are doing provides valuable insights. A competitive gap analysis will help show you areas that your competitors are doing better than you in.

We found there were 2,852 unique keywords not being used by our client. Most of these were keywords having to do with marijuana laws, which was one of their legal specialties. We built content on their website based on the keywords we found to start driving targeted traffic.

What excited us even more about discovering these keywords was how they could help us generate ideas for blog posts for the client’s website.

The SEO Strategy

The law firm took advantage of our managed SEO program, where they would receive contextual links from authority sites. We paired that with our high-level links from using our guest post approach. High-quality guest posts are one of the most effective ways to boost your site up the SERPs.

Our Results

What we observed in this case study was textbook SEO.

The client’s organic traffic was in the 500s when we kicked off their campaign in October 2019. Now (in May 2020) it’s over 7,700 visitors per month and continues trending upwards.

That’s an organic traffic increase of over 800%!

By using a combination of our foundational link building and guest posts, we were able to push extremely valuable keywords into the top 10. We got some of their marijuana and domestic abuse keywords onto page 1 of Google, contributing to the massive traffic spike.

The client’s referring domains increased by more than 1,000%!

 

That means it would cost them almost $12K in paid advertising a month to get the same amount of traffic they are getting now with organic search! Take a look at the value growth below.

Local Foreign Language SEO Case Study

This company is unique because it’s a French Canadian Site.

We always start with a full SEO audit to gain a clearer understanding of the site’s SEO health, look for any potential issues, and which keywords to target, etc.

This site had no penalties, it just wasn’t getting much traffic.

Keyword Research

Easy Wins 

We always look for quick wins when doing keyword research – keywords that the site is ranking for, just not at the top. By initially targeting “easy win” keywords, we can usually get some fast traction and results in the short term and increase rankings and traffic to your site.

Competitive Gap

We found 31 terms their competitors were targeting. These had volumes between 20 – 1,600 ms with CPC between .10 – $3.

Some of these keywords were local areas they hadn’t targeted yet, some of these were popular brand names of appliances that they work with, and some of these were great keywords for services they offer that they don’t have pages for yet, or weren’t optimizing.

However, Ahrefs is reporting a traffic value of $8k PER MONTH.

In most cases, it’s important to focus on the right type of targeted traffic by being strategic.

 

Car Dealer SEO Case Study (147% Traffic Increase!)


 This client was facing challenges with their website. Their rankings were dropping and their business was suffering.

They were also facing an SEO penalty issue. We were able to help them turn the situation around over time, and increase their organic keyword rankings and traffic to their site.

 


Background

This is a car dealership with several locations  They focus on high-end luxury vehicles.

Most of the terms they want to target have search volume on the lower end, but are extremely lucrative.

Their goal was to first get their traffic back, as well as improve their rankings for a few key pages.

Here’s how we did it:

SEO Audit

The first thing we always do when we get a new site is to audit their SEO history.

This client was experiencing a significant drop in rankings. This site’s rankings were affected due to having thin and duplicate pages with little-to-no content as well as a high bounce rate.

This type of problem is very common for auto dealers since most pages are typically just showing inventory pages. That also means there is a huge opportunity to win the traffic back!

Focusing On Improving Existing Pages Rankings & Traffic With Easy Wins

One of the first things we take a look at is improving traffic to existing pages.

It’s common to find that many sites are close to ranking and getting traffic, but they just aren’t in the top positions yet.

For this we run our easy wins analysis and find keywords that the site is ranking for with the following metrics:

  • Positions 4-30 with
  • KD equal to or less than 30
  • Minimum CPC .01

That way we can find targetable, valuable keywords and pages that are on the verge of ranking and can easily be improved.

On this site, we found 460 potential targets, mostly on the bottom of page 1 through page 3 with CPC between $0.30 and $2.50.

These terms / URLs were primarily product pages leading to specific cars that are available. The keywords have low difficulty, and we can capitalize on these to quickly increase traffic.

Competitive Gap Analysis

The next thing we do is take a look at keywords that you’re competitors are targeting that you are not yet, and then focus on building out content for these opportunities.

The automotive industry is a bit different in terms of content gap analysis.

When analyzing the competitive gap in this industry, you’ll often find keywords that are irrelevant and not worth targeting (i.e – specific car models, geo-targeted keywords, etc.)

Most of the top competing sites in this niche are thin on content, which allowed us to target the easy wins and create long blog content around them.

Each month we did a combination of high-quality link building and strategic content.

SEO Results

After targeting this site’s easy win key terms, we’ve bumped many of them to page 1. The top 10 keywords are currently all ranking on page 1:

Takeaway
